Joint CTA on School Meals

PUNTNEFA is pleased to join forces with the global civil society on the call to action on school meals. A lot has been done ahead of the first School Meals Coalition Global Summit which took place in Paris on 18 and 19 October 2023. PUNTNEFA, like all other like-minded members of the civil society, urged governments to strengthen their commitment to school meal programs and called upon donors to increase their support for nutritious school meals, particularly in regions facing conflict and crises including Somalia. The call still stands and we need governments and donors to continue supporting school meals.
